The Himalayas, Kufri - Fagu, Himachal Pradesh, India
Hills and Mountains - The first view of the Himalyas that I remember. I had made my way to the top of Kufri peak, 2,290 metres (7,510 feet) and I hadn't climbed any of it. A horse did all the work, but the way up and down was trecherous, with just a few feet of footing for the horse to keep us all alive. Once on top, the himlayas came into view and took my breath away. I was still learning how to view the world through the lens but I was more than happy to let my eyes do the seeing on top of Kufri.
