Religions - Sikhism - I believe in Faith. Not so much in religion and the rules and rituals that are tied to it but I do believe in greater beings, a greater purpose than just me. The Golden Temple in Amritsar had been impossible to get to as I was growing up, embroiled in wars that stretched across India's northern states. So in 2006, when I finally stepped foot into the complex, I gained a new sense of serenity and tranquility. Sikhism is a religion but somehow being in that complex strengthened by faith more than question the Sikh religion. The golden temple, stood glowing in the middle of this perfect pool and I wanted to capture that feeling of peace I found in me.
