Arriving in Hong Kong
Junk is a type of ancient Chinese sailing ship that is still in use today and no better place to see them but in Hong Kong where they provide the sharpest contrast as they arrive at ports dwarfed by skyscrapers. Junks were used as seagoing vessels as early as the 2nd century AD and developed rapidly during the Song dynasty and now it is something every tourist must do.
